Jalsaaz is a social deduction party game for 6–10 players — secretly assigned factions compete to either protect or destroy the group, similar to Mafia or Werewolf, but with no moderator required and a Hinglish voice throughout.
If you've played Mafia or Werewolf before, Jalsaaz will feel immediately familiar. The difference is that no one sits out as the moderator — the phone handles role assignment, runs the discussion rounds, accepts votes, and triggers the final reveal. That means all 6 to 10 players are in it the whole time. It also plays faster than traditional Mafia because the timer is managed automatically, and the Hinglish copy actually sounds like your group chat.

Create a room on mehfil.party and share the code. Everyone joins on their own phone — no app download.
The phone secretly assigns roles: some players are Jalsaaz (saboteurs), others are Aam Log (civilians). Roles are delivered privately.
Play through mission and accusation rounds. Debate, vote, eliminate. Civilians win if they find the Jalsaaz. The Jalsaaz win if they survive to the end.
How is this different from regular Mafia?
No moderator needed — the phone runs the whole game. Everyone plays the whole time, no one sits out. The UI and all copy is in Hinglish, built for desi friend groups.
Do we need a moderator or game master?
No. The phone handles everything: role assignment, mission rounds, voting, and the final reveal.
How many players?
Jalsaaz works best with 6 to 10 players.
How long does a full game take?
A typical game runs 20–40 minutes depending on how much the group argues. The timer keeps things moving.
