Fun games to play with friends — the kind where you're actually together.
Search for games to play with friends and you get Roblox, Steam and console lists: everyone on their own screen, in their own room. These are the other kind — games for when your friends are on the same sofa (or the same video call), where the fun is each other and the phone just runs the rules.
Every Mehfil game runs from one room code in the phone browser. No app download, no sign-up, nothing to buy.

Video call games
Most of the games above work on a call: the call carries the voices, everyone follows the game on their phone. Antakshari and Dumb Charades are the best fits.
Classics that need nothing at all
Mafia
The original hidden-role game. Needs a moderator — or a phone to be one.
Two truths and a lie
Works anywhere, needs nothing, runs out of steam after a round or two.
How the phone thing works
One friend opens mehfil.party and taps Room banao.
The four-digit code goes in the group chat.
Everyone joins on their own phone and the game starts — the phone runs it, the room plays it.
